Sara Green

ara P. Green, 84, formerly of West Main Street, Plymouth, died Thursday at
the Mercy Center, Dallas.



Born March 17, 1917 in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late James and
Margaret (McGowan) Convery. She was a 1934 graduate of Meyers High School and

Paul Church, Plymouth, St. John the Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre, and St.
Francis Church, Nanticoke, before retiring.

She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church, Plymouth, member and past
president of its Silver and Gold Club. She was also a member of the Senior
Citizens Club of the Plymouth First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Honora Convery, Sister Mary Ellen
Convery, RSM, Anne Ruotolo and Ruth Convery; and brothers, James and John.

Surviving are her daughters, Mary Heidenreich, Wilkes-Barre; Barbara,
Orlando, Fla.; and Margaret Ann Frew, Scranton; sister, Margaret Granger,
Jersey City; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.



The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral
Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.
at St. Vincent De Paul Church. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover
Township. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made to the Mercy Center, Lake Street, Dallas.
