nne Lowery, 96, formerly of Kidder Street, East End section of
Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday at Little Flower Manor, where she was a resident
for the past four years.



Born July 10, 1905 in Larksville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and
Ann (Nice) Martin. She was a member of Holy Saviour Parish, East End, and its
Altar and Rosary Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P.; daughter, Ruth Brown;
brothers, Frank, John, Joseph, Edward, Stanley, Thomas and Leo; and sisters,
Catherine Martin and Jule Lamparski.

Surviving are her grandsons, Eugene Brown, Forty Fort; and Neil Brown,
Kingston; great-granddaughter, Emily Brown, Kingston; and several nieces and
nephews.



The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the McLaughlin Family Funeral
Service, 142 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m.
at Holy Saviour Church, Hillard Street, East End. Interment will be in St.
Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. today.
