Naomi Ruth Carr, of Sheridan Manor, Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday in
Wilkes-Barre Mercy Hospital. Born May 26, 1942 in Wilkes-Barre, Naomi was the
daughter of the late Daniel and Naomi (Van Why) Leonhardt.

She was a graduate of Meyers High School, Class of 1960. She was a member
of Albright United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre, and formerly of Parrish St.
United Methodist. She was formerly employed by Rite Aid Pharmacies in City
Heights Shopping Center for numerous years.
She was preceded in death by husband, Martin J. Carr, Jr., and twin
sisters, Margaret Stewart and Marie Salwolski.

She is survived by children, Martin and his wife, Darlene Carr, Kingston
Twp.; Kelly and her husband, Edward MacRae, Avoca; Ruthie and her husband,
Kenneth, Scranton; William, at home; grandchildren, Shawna Luczak, Edward
MacRae, Jr., Samantha Clark, Jacob Carr; brothers, Charles Leonhardt, Laurence
Harbor, NJ; and William Leonhardt, Wilkes-Barre.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Mamary-Durkin
Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St.
Charles Cemetery, Sugar Notch. Friends may call at the Mamary-Durkin Funeral
Service today from 5 to 9 p.m.

Those who desire may give memorial contributions to the St. Vincent DePaul
Soup Kitchen or Albright United Methodist Church.
