Joan Wagner, 79, of Main Road, Hunlock Creek, died October 4, 2010.
She was born October 30, 1930, in Union Township, a daughter of the late Willis and Alta Benscoter Goss. She was employed many years at Wise Foods, Berwick. She was a 1948 graduate of Shickshinny High School and was one of the school reunion coordinators.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Keith Wagner; sister, Jane Taylor; brother, Jerry Goss; and brother-in-law, Sheldon Brace.
Surviving is son, Dana Wagner and wife, Gwen, Hunlock Creek; daughter, Denise Wagner, Hunlock Creek; grandchildren, Ryan and Amy Wagner, Hunlock Creek; sisters, Jeanne Brace, Hunlock Creek, and Judy Wolfe and husband, Richard, Reading; sister-in-law Priscilla Goss, Hunlock Creek; brother-in-law, Robert Taylor, Pittston; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Oct. 8 from the Clarke Piatt Funeral Home, Hunlock Creek, with the Rev. Terry Hughes officiating. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Hunlock Creek.
