Titans 17 Panthers 10 quick recap
M.Davis3 months ago
The Tennessee Titans emerged with a 17-10 win over the Carolina Panthers at Nissan Stadium today. It wasn’t a pretty day on offense, but they were able to convert a turnover forced when Arden Key sacked Bryce Young and knocked the ball out. Jeffery Simmons recovered the fumble at the Carolina 17-yard line. Two plays later Derrick Henry carried the ball into the end zone to give the Titans a 14-3 lead. Tennesee would add a 53-yard field goal after a well-executed 3-play drive after they got the ball back with just 27 seconds left and no timeouts. That would be all of the scoring for the day for the Titans. They would have four second half possessions not counting the kneel downs at the end of the game. All four possessions would end in a punt. Will Levis was pretty good on the day going 18 of 28 for 185 yards. He was only sacked once but spent a lot of the day moving around to avoid pressure. The Titans play the Indianapolis Colts at Nissan Stadium next Sunday.
