“To the Death”: Kyle Busch Offers Martin Truex Jr. a Rare Alliance to Survive ‘Hunger Games of NASCAR’

What if there was a NASCAR version of the Hunger Games? The sport doesn't lack a cutthroat competitive nature; if anything, the drivers are willing to force the issue to meet their objectives. Friendships and brotherhoods count for nothing when either survival or a championship is on the line. Only a select few can compete for the glory at the end of the season, but survival is indeed a common trait among the majority of drivers. So, you see, Hunger Games is something that aligns well with the NASCAR drivers. Andrew Kurland from Dirty Mo Media, who was present for the Martinsville race, asked drivers in the garage about their chances in the Hunger Games of NASCAR. Kyle Busch was one of the few drivers who shared his take and later revealed he would be unstoppable at the games if he partnered with Martin Truex Jr. Kyle Busch is optimistic about his chances of winning the NASCAR Hunger Games "If you think you were in the Hunger Games, would you win?" This was the question Andrew pitched to Rowdy at the Martinsville Speedway. Taking a brief moment to think about it, the RCR star replied, "I think so. Yeah, I'm a good shot." However, the thing about Hunger Games is that you've got to be smart and link with fellow competitors to make it to the very end. Perhaps this isn't something Busch is good at, as over the years he's ruffled a few feathers, and it's hard to see him tag along with other drivers. "I'll struggle the most in that, yeah. But if we got to go after others or, you know, kill to survive. I got it." He added. But here's the twist. Kyle Busch wouldn't mind pairing up with his former JGR teammate Martin Truex Jr. Now that sounds like a plan. The partnership between the two drivers could prove to be a winning one thanks to their contrasting personalities. You have an explosive, in-the-face character in Rowdy Busch, while MTJ is a silent killer who knows how to get things done without making a fuss about it. Once the video made its way online on Instagram, Kyle Busch dropped this suggestion in the comments section. "I'll get Truex on my team. Him and me to the end and to the death!!" Now it would be interesting to see who among the two would then come out on top. The game is about survival, and there can be only a single winner. Perhaps MTJ can answer that question. Meanwhile, the fans also joined in the conversation, and they made some interesting picks on who they thought would win the NASCAR Hunger Games. Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch touted to be Hunger Games winners by fans Joining Busch was Austin Cindric, who was confident about his chances in the survival game. "I don't think I'll die first," Cindric said. He was then asked about what he feels about the NASCAR version of the Hunger Games seeing drivers go against each other. To which his initial response was, "Isn't that Martinsville? Just leave it at that." Heck, even Ross Chastain was part of the conversation, and you wouldn't doubt him a bit. He is a constant thorn in the side of the drivers running on the track. We've seen him throw the hail melon and go ballistic even against the superstar drivers. This is why this race fan believed Chastain would win the NASCAR Hunger Games. "I mean, you saw what he did here two years ago, right? He's going to do what he's got to do." Meanwhile, a few others made a case for both Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch. "Oh, Denny Hamlin, 100% because he doesn't give a sh-t. You just gotta find somebody to slap the sh-t out of them." A fan rallying behind Rowdy added, "I bet he's a dog lowkey." Well, if we are to add more chaos into the playoff format, there won't be a need for Hunger Games, as things would be pretty intense in the original setting. Which driver do you think can win the Hunger Games in NASCAR? Do let us know in the comments below.
