Pat Keating, Tunkhannock coach says, "We've done a lot of good things. I think the program moving in the right direction. You know, we just have to get more consistent with the team.

But, you know, I think we have a lot of youth on our football team right now. We have a lot of guys playing for their first time. Kids are still get acclimated to the system. You know, it is year number two but I think everything is moving int he right direction. "

Ide asks, hen things are going right for you as a team, what does happen in those games?

James Thomas, Tunkhannock Senior added" It just works. Blocks get made like they're supposed to. And people hit the running backs hit the hole, it just works. "

Towanda has its best record in years as the Black Knight welcome back former coach James Wecker.

James Wecker, Towanda coach says, " I think we've improved weekly. Even playing against Troy and, you know, just a different kind of monster right now. But even then, I thought we showed improvement week to week. And right in the last couple weeks, we've really started to be able to put games together.

We're finishing games. We're playing four quarters. And we've been put a few games together, you know, that we've been pretty, pretty dominant. And so we're playing with some confidence right now. "

Towanda is led by the Northern tiers player of the year last season Riley Vanderpool. the quarterback and safety missed the first two game of the season but he still has 16 touchdowns combined.

Riley Vanerderpool, Towanda Senior, says " Yeah. I'm happy with the way it's going. I'm not really all by myself. I would rather my teammates be a part of the team and, not self selfish. So when they get the ball, too, I'm kind of happy for them.

And, yeah, I'm happy for my numbers. They're. They're good so far. And I got two more games to play. So keep getting them up. "

Right now. Both teams are in their district playoffs. Tunkhannock is currently in the eighth seed of Triple-A in district two.

If they can win their last two games, they may be able to move up a couple spots. Towanda. They're locked in right now to the second seed in Double-A of district four. If they can win their last two games, they'll solidify that spot. Headed into the playoffs.

Ide asks, Defense is going to be challenged this week with a good real good talented team with a good quarterback. Talking to me about stopping him.

Daniel Browning, Tunkhannock Senior responds ,"We got to get the miscues. Can't happen. We got to be where we need to be and the schemes there. We're just going to make plays. We're going to be there and play defense

I mean, just winning this game in general just proves that we know we can do it. We have to come out and we got to do 100%. "

ide asks, You're in a good spot in district playoffs. How important these last two weeks to get wins and solidify that ?

Sawyer Robinson, Towanda Senior responds, " We have to win them if we want two home games. "
