TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A man was injured following a shooting that took place Tuesday night at ReNew Tallahassee apartments, according to Tallahassee Police. The incident unfolded a little after 11:15 p.m. at the apartment complex, located at 1505 West Tharpe Street, police said. Officers responded to the scene and located a man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to TPD's press release. Preliminary investigation suggested that the shooting happened in the parking lot of the apartment complex, per TPD. However, police said it is unclear what led to the shooting. This is an ongoing investigation.
