Traffic Accident Closes Roads For PM Drive: Village Of Schaumburg Police are asking motorists to avoid the area Wednesday night and take alternative routes.SCHAUMBURG, IL — Motorists should avoid the area of Algonquin and Thoreau roads Wednesday night as police investigate a traffic accident. According to the Village of Schaumburg, the roads are closed in all directions.
In a 3:05 p.m. social media alert, officials said westbound Algonquin Road from Rt 53 and eastbound Algonquin Road from Meacham Road will be affected. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes with emergency personnel on scene.
