Traffic Alert: Watertown’s Chestnut Street

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Tree work on Chestnut Street in the City of Watertown will be going on for the next two days.

According to a press release from the city, tree removal crews will be working on the 200 block of Chestnut Street between Sherman St. and Holcomb St. on Wednesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 14.

The work will go from 6:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. The work involves the cutting down and removal of one tree. The work is being performed in front of 265 Chestnut Street.

Only local traffic will be allowed to access the street during this project.

Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes for the duration of the work.
