Former President Donald Trump won a second term in office on Tuesday, Nov. 5, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 race for the White House.

Palm Beach County residents got a glimpse of the spotlight he will bring to the Palm Beach County on Tuesday night when thousands of supporters and an international media contingent gathered at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach as Trump spoke to the nation.

"This was a movement like nobody's ever seen before," he told the crowd in West Palm Beach just before 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6. "And frankly this was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time. There's never been anything like this in this country, and maybe beyond. And now it's going to reach a new level of importance because we're going to help our country heal.
