TSA to hold recruiting event at Georgia Institute of Technology

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is holding a recruiting event for individuals interested in applying for a job as a Transportation Security Officer (TSO) at Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport (SAV).

The event will take place Wednesday, September 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is meant to help provide an opportunity to accelerate the TSO hiring process.

Attendees will receive instruction on completing the application process and if eligible, take a proctored test and interview.

Those interested in applying will need to bring at least one form of federal or state-issued identification with a photograph and a signature. Completing all the necessary steps may take several hours

TSA will provide an overview of working for the federal government and discuss benefits, which include paid leave, health care plans for full- and part-time employees, 401k coverage and more.

The event takes place at the Georgia Institute of Technology, 190 Technology Circle, Savannah, GA.
