Tuesday's Weather: Mostly sunny and warm again

V.Lee2 hr ago
EAST TEXAS (KLTV/KTRE) - It may finally be October, but don't expect the new month to bring any cooler weather any time soon! This morning we're waking up to some mild lower to middle 60s with mostly clear skies and potentially some light patchy fog. Ample sunshine and relatively dry air will lead to another round of warm highs in the lower 90s. A weak cold front is still set to arrive later today/tonight which will help temperatures fall into the upper 80s for Wednesday. Easterly or southeast winds will return by late Wednesday/early Thursday and will keep our highs close to 90° each and every single day this week. Northeast winds will likely return by the weekend and should allow temperatures to trend in the upper 80s for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Not to jynx anything, but a stronger cold front is still expected to arrive some time next Monday which will likely bring temperatures closer to (or even below) seasonal averages.
