Turley to Deliver Keynote Address at the Sinai Forum

V.Rodriguez35 min ago

Today I have the pleasure of speaking at the Sinai Forum sponsored by Purdue Northwest (PNW) in Michigan City, Indiana. The Sinai Forum is over 70 years old and has served as a unique program to engage in a civil and substantive discussion of the issues facing every generation. I will be discussing my book, " The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage ."

This is the 71st forum, which has previously featured speakers like Eleanor Roosevelt, Walter Cronkite, Eli Weisel, Justice William Douglas, William F. Buckley, British Prime Minister Clement Atlee, and others. I am honored to be included in that august legacy.

The program was launched in 1953 in a home by Sylvia Bankoff, her husband Dr. Milton Bankoff, Rabbi Karl Richter and a small group of inspired community members. Their impactful work is now being carried on by Barbara Bankoff and others in bringing in international speakers to Indiana.

I will be speaking around 4:00 pm at Purdue Northwest, Westville Campus, Dworkin Student Services and Activities Complex, 1401 US Hwy 421, Westville, IN 46391.

It has been great to visit with folks in Indiana and to spend yesterday with my 97-year-old mother, Angela, in Chicago. If we have any of our Hoosiers from the blog, I would love to see you.
