B.Wilson27 min ago

After an explosive encounter at Gretna, the real-time runaway train thriller thunders onwards. Stressed cop Joe (Joe Cole) must now try to sniff out a traitor among the buffet car of nonplussed passengers. Back at cyber HQ, Abby (Alexandra Roach) has obviously seen Speed, so has a plan to contain the hackjacking threat. Continues tomorrow. Graeme Virtue

BBC Young Musician 2024: Audition 2

Bassoonists, harpists, cellists and more talented young musicians face the second batch of auditions in the annual contest. If anyone knows what pressure they're under it's previous finalist Jess Gillam, who hosts the heats. Only 12 musicians can go through to the quarter-finals, so the competition is fierce. Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing

This gently rapturous series is getting mildly repetitive – but that isn't a criticism, as Bob and Paul's trips remain a priceless still point in a baffling world. They start a new series fishing for tench in Norfolk. The trip culminates in what Bob describes as "possibly the best fish we've ever caught" but, as ever, it's really about the silly, touching, intimate chat, the mild overindulgence in the pub and the overall air of contentment. Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins

There's a twist to the celebrity hazing ritual this year: Foxy, Rudy and the gang won't eliminate the contenders. Instead, they'll encourage them to see out the full, nightmarish eight days. This time, we're in New Zealand where participants including Rachel Johnson, Anthony Ogogo and Pete Wicks will be traversing parallel bars suspended 335ft in the air.

The Best Man: The Final Chapters

This glossy comedy drama is a continuation of the 2013 film The Best Man Holiday and tells the sprawling story of a group of friends grappling with success, failure, loss and ageing. As the story returns to the present day, the group assemble in Martinique to attend Quentin's wedding. What secrets will reveal themselves.

Tom Jones

As soon as this latest adaptation of Henry Fielding's 1749 novel begins, you'll notice changes. Here, the story of foundling Tom (Solly McLeod) is narrated by his love Sophia (Sophie Wilde) who, in this version, is the Black daughter of a Jamaican slaver. The essential element of roguish romping, however, remains in place. Ellen E Jones
