ELVERSON — Twin Valley continued to play dominating football, beating Elco 51-7 in a Lancaster-Lebanon League Section Four game Friday night at Twin Valley to reach 4-0 to start the season.

It was the Raiders' fourth straight win over Elco.

Evan Myers threw three touchdowns to three different receivers, for 144 yards in just the first half alone. Evan Johnson found the end zone twice, bringing his touchdown career total to 42, a school record.

Johnson set up the offense with an interception off Elco quarterback Steven Rosado on the second play of the game. After defensive offsides, Myers found a wide-open Matthew Knight for a 19-yard score.

With pressure applied, Twin Valley (1-0, 4-0) caused Rosado to commit an intentional grounding in the end zone, resulting in a safety. Johnson took over from there as he capped off an eight-play drive with a 4-yard rushing touchdown. The next Twin Valley drive was just three plays, as Johnson galloped 45-yards to the end zone to round out the first quarter.

As the second quarter played out, Twin Valley's Damarion Terry came up with an interception of his own. Myers threw touchdown passes to Patrick Shanahan and Ben Grundy. Lucas Myers found the end zone on a fourth-and-goal rush.

With a 44-0 halftime lead, the mercy rule commenced. Each team would score once in the second half. Elco (0-1, 1-3) was able to put together a touchdown drive in the third quarter as Rosado punched in a 1-yard touchdown run. Chase Reilly answered with a 2-yard touchdown to cap off Twin Valley's night.
