Two men seized in drug bust in St. Lucie County

Two men were arrested in a drug bust Thursday morning in St. Lucie County, deputies say.

According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, the drug bust happened a little after 8 a.m. at a home located near S. 20th Street in Fort Pierce.

Inside the home deputies seized 130 grams of cocaine, 1 gram of MDMA, 24 grams of suboxone, 39 grams of fentanyl and 29 grams of an unknown substance.

In addition to the drugs, deputies also seized a Smith & Wesson .380, a high point 9 mm and a Bycro handgun.

The two men Expavious Ceon Mills, 47, and Ferdinand Plecide George, 52, were both taken to St. Lucie County Jail.

Mills was booked into jail on a $269,750 bond, and George was booked in on a $141,000 bond.

“Today's successful drug bust is a testament to the relentless dedication of our detectives in safeguarding our community. We will continue to identify and arrest these dealers of death who intend to bring drugs like fentanyl into our community,” said Sheriff Ken Mascara.
