Two-vehicle accident involving a deer, one dead in Parma

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash involving a deer in Parma Friday.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the report of an accident on Clarkson Parma Townline Road in Parma around 8:00 p.m.

MCSO says an accident involving two vehicles and one deer left both vehicles damaged. Two people in the first vehicle traveling north were unharmed, and the single passenger of the second vehicle in the southbound lane was pronounced dead at the scene.

MCSO says no one has been charged as a result of the accident, and they are working to notify the family of the deceased. Clarkson Parma Townline Road was closed but has since re-opened.
