UE receives $116k dedication to student scholarships

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The University of Evansville announced a gift of $116,000 from the estate of Susan J. Partenheimer to be used for student scholarships.

Partenheimer double majored in education and psychology at the university, and earned a master of arts in education in 1980 and a master of science in counseling in 1987. Officials say She left a mark on countless lives by spending 30 years teaching within the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation.

Officials say the gift will create lasting scholarship opportunities to allow future generations of students to pursue their dreams at the university.
