ULM has fired football coach Terry Bowden, the program announced Sunday. Here’s what you need to know:
What they’re saying
“After a thorough review, we have decided to make a change in the leadership of ULM football,” ULM athletic director John Hartwell said in a statement. “I want to thank coach Terry Bowden for all he has done over the last three years for our football program and our university.”
Hartwell said he has begun a national search for Bowden’s replacement and will conduct a news conference to discuss the change on Monday at Malone Stadium.
