Unofficial election night results for Wilson County

Nov. 5—Polls closed in Wilson County at 7 p.m., and the Wilson County Election Commission has posted the unofficial results. Reported results are as of 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Mayoral races across the county were uncontested. Rick Bell was re-elected in Lebanon, with 18,071 votes. James Maness was re-elected in Mt. Juliet with 17,855 votes. Mike Jennings was re-elected in Watertown with 493 votes.

In Lebanon, four candidates ran for city council. Ward 1 incumbent Joey Carmack ran uncontested and was re-elected with 3,408 votes. Ward 2 was the only contested Lebanon City Council race on the ballot, which Geri Ashley won with 709 votes. Her opponent, Pamela Wiggins, received 641 votes. Incumbent Tick Bryant was re-elected in Ward 5 with 2,595 votes.

In Watertown, the race for three aldermen-at-large seats was uncontested. Incumbent Steve Casey was re-elected with 410 votes; incumbent April Pearson was re-elected with 411 votes, and incumbent Laura Lea Cromer was re-elected with 421 votes.

Five candidates ran for the Mt. Juliet Commission. Art Giles won the District 1 seat with 2,076 votes, claiming victory over incumbent Ray Justice (1,773 votes) and Vince King (723 votes). Incumbent Scott Hefner won in District 3, with 3,016 votes. His opponent, Tommy Hibbett, received 1,455 votes.

Incumbent Marsha Blackburn (R) won the United States Senate seat for Tennessee over opponent Gloria Johnson (D).

Incumbent Andy Ogles (R) won the United States House of Representatives seat for District 5. Incumbent John Rose (R) won the house seat in District 6.

Incumbent Michael Hale (R) won the race for the District 40 seat in the Tennessee State House of Representatives. Incumbent Clark Boyd (R) won the District 46 seat and incumbent Susan Lynn (R) won the District 57 seat.
