LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A member of the University of Louisville football team has been arrested on domestic violence charges.

This is Holloway's first year with the Cards. The redshirt sophomore is from Virginia Beach, Virginia and played two seasons at North Carolina before coming to Louisville.

He's also the player who got the unsportsmanlike penalty at the end of Saturday's game that put Stanford in field goal range.

UofL Athletics has released a statement on Holloway saying:

"The University of Louisville is aware of the arrest of football student-athlete Tayon Holloway. As we gather more information, Tayon has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities."

Holloway is expected in court Nov. 26.
