Up for adoption in Morganton: Emma, a senior dog who needs a good retirement home
The following are the Pets of the Week at Burke County Animal Services:
Emma: A sweet senior dog. She is a 14-year-old owner-surrender. She is spayed and ready to go. She needs a home where she can live out the rest of her happy life. She does well with all other animals.
Onyx: A sweet 2-year-old neutered male dog who loves to play and gives lots of kisses. He has lots of energy, so he does need some space to run.
Turkey Baster: An adorable 2-month-old male kitten who loves to cuddle. The whole litter was recently surrendered and are ready for forever homes. The kittens are learning how to play and be loving.
Ladle: A sibling to Turkey Baster who is also 2 months old (this baby is a female). She is super snuggly and is also learning to play. She is ready for her forever home.
All adoptions include up-to-date vaccines, preventatives, a spay or neuter, and dogs will be heartworm tested.
