UPDATE: One person killed, another hurt after crash in Midwest City

UPDATE 8:10 P.M. Police say the person taken to the hospital in critical condition has now died after a head-on collision in Midwest City.

The second person involved in the crash was treated for minor injuries.

ORIGINAL STORY MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — Midwest City Police responded to a crash near SE 15th Street and S Westminster Road on Monday night.

Police say one person has been taken to the hospital in critical condition as a result of the wreck.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Drivers are advised to avoid the area as crews work to clear the scene.
