For those looking to avoid spending Thanksgiving over the stove, several restaurants and farms in the Cumberland County area are cooking up turkey day favorites with dine-in and take-out options:
Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses

Food: Sponsored by U.S. Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Chef Jess is preparing Thanksgiving meals for four people or eight people. The effort is open to the public, and the menu includes herb roasted turkey breast, Yukon whipped potatoes, cornbread stuffing, pan gravy, freshly baked rolls with butter, green bean casserole, cranberry relish, coleslaw, apple pie and pumpkin pie. The 4-person meal costs $80 and the eight-person meal costs $150.
