LONG ISLAND, NY — The polls in New York's 2nd Congressional District have closed.
The unofficial results with one Election District reporting:
Incumbent Andrew Garbarino, of Bayport, was first elected in 2020. He was reelected in 2022 with 60 percent of the vote, according to Ballotpedia .
He did not respond to Patch's questionnaire.
Lubin, a political newcomer, previously worked as a sponsorship opportunities developer for F.C. Barcelona. He is now a small business owner from Lindenhurst.
The 2nd Congressional District stretches from southwestern Nassau to include a western portion of Brookhaven Town.
