US Senate candidate Dave McCormick visits Erie talking inflation, economy

U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick and his wife Dina made a stop in Erie on Sunday.

The couple hosted a women's event at the Kahkwa Club where they discussed inflation, policies to support working families, and empowering women economically.

McCormick expresses that women play a huge role in the direction of the commonwealth and are more than half the voters.

He said the election next month will be the most important one of our lifetimes.

"America's in a tough position, our Commonwealth is struggling. Eighty percent of voters think the country is heading in the wrong direction so I really want to encourage everybody who is listening and watching to get out to vote. I hope you're going to vote for me but whatever you do, vote. Get your voice out there. This is a time when people need to step up and exercise really what is the most important responsibility they have," said Dave McCormick, running for U.S. Senate (R).

The combat veteran is running against three-term Democrat Senator Bob Casey.
