Vanderbilt baseball recruiting: Tracking 2025 signees for Tim Corbin's Commodores

With the start of the signing period Wednesday, Vanderbilt baseball is welcoming its 2025 recruiting class.

This class has gone through a lot of upheaval. Once one of the top classes in the country, several players have decommitted over the past few months. Some flipped to other SEC schools (including Billy Carlson to Tennessee , Dean Moss to LSU, Minjae Seo to Florida and Luke Roupe to South Carolina). Two former recruits in the class, Brendan Horne and Grant McCubrey, told the New England Baseball Journal that they had offers rescinded by the program after the introduction of new NCAA rules limiting baseball roster sizes to 34. Another player, Brandon Logan, opted to play both football and baseball at Notre Dame.

Still, the signing day class ranks in the top 10 despite being unusually small with just 13 commits. Among those commits are three players who rank in the top 15 in the class of 2025.

In baseball, there are no signing periods, meaning players can now sign at any time until Aug. 1. It is very common for Vanderbilt to add one or more late commits during the winter or spring.

The majority of the Commodores' recruits for 2025 committed under former recruiting coordinator Mike Baxter, but Baxter was fired after the 2024 season. Instead, new hitting coach Jayson King and recruiting coordinator Ty Blankmeyer replaced Baxter and Tyler Shewmaker.

Vanderbilt typically does not officially announce its signings.

Here's who has signed with the program for 2025:
