Veritas Prep hosts harvest fest with trunk or treat fun
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – As the fall season shifts into high gear, a local school community came together for a harvest fest Friday night!
The annual event at Veritas Prep Charter School brought together students and staff, and included a trunk or treat. Those who attended also got the chance to check out the 'haunted hallway,' the spooky area inside the school that was put together by all the students.
Founder and Executive Director for Veritas Prep Charter Rachel Romano told 22New,s "We have been doing this every year for our own students and this year since our middle school students have become high school students they really want to put it on for our younger students as a way to put on some say and fun Halloween festivities."
Veritas Prep Charter will be holding a networking night on November 6th and anyone is welcome to attend It will take place at their high school location on Coronado Drive in Springfield.
