Veterans, active military personnel to have free admission to Indiana DNR properties Monday in honor of Veterans Day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) shares that all veterans and active-duty military personnel as well as everyone in their vehicle will have free admission to DNR-managed state parks, state forest recreation areas, off-road state recreation areas, and reservoir properties on Monday in honor of Veterans Day.

The Indiana DNR says veterans and active-duty military personnel should simply let the gate attendant at the property know that they have served or are currently serving in the military.
