A memorial service for Vicki Diane (McGee) Underwood, 71, of Chickasha, will be held by the family at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, at the Grand Assembly of God Church in Chickasha.

She went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024 surrounded by her family. Vicki was born on March 15th, 1953 in El Paso, Texas to Curtis and Maxine (Boyd) McGee. She attended Socorro High School & graduated there in 1971.

She met the love of her life Fred Bee Underwood, Jr. in 1973 and they married in Corpus Christi, Texas on Valentine's Day in 1975. They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary next February. From this union, they had three children, Jason, Sarah, and Jade Underwood.

Vicki's pride & joy was her family and spending time together. She enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Memaw." She was known for her amazing cooking and always kept the holiday traditions alive, she especially loved Christmas.

Vicki resided at Cottonwood Creek Nursing Home in Chickasha for the past 4 years and enjoyed being involved in their daily activities. She loved painting and doing arts & crafts. Vicki made many friends at the nursing home and was loved by all the staff.

She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Bee Underwood, Jr. of Ninnekah; son, Jason Underwood of New Mexico; daughter, Sarah Underwood of Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Jade and Matthew Wilcox, Sr. of Ninnekah; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Comer, Chloe Smith, Chandler Streber, and Kinsley Wilcox; grandsons, Matthew Wilcox, Jr., Layne Stidham, and Luke Wilcox; great-granddaughters, Myleigh and Hadley Comer; sister and brother-in-law, Becki and Steve LeBeau of Texas; nephew, Blake Davidson of Texas; niece, Whitney Peterson of Oregon; plus other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Maxine (Boyd) McGee; grandparents, William and Ione (Good) McGee, and Porter and Beatrice (Chandler) Boyd, plus aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma.
