Victoria Stacia Rospendowski- Smith

Victoria Stacia Rospendowski-Smith, 80, Brandenburg, Ky., died Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the Medco Center of Brandenburg. She was born December 1, 1930, in Nanticoke, a daughter of Frank and Lillian Smereski-Rospendowski.
Victoria was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Henry Smith; a son, John Frances Smith; a sister, Dorothy Rospendowski-Bartoszek; a brother-in-law, Sel Konsevitch; and two great-grandsons, Kayler Mychal Dorsey and Von Glatz.
She is survived by a brother, Frank (Alverna) Rospendowski, Wapwallopen; a sister, JoAnn Rospendowski-Konsevitch, Bethlehem, Pa.; a son, Morris Frank (Amanda) Smith, Kingston; and three daughters, Victoria Stacia Smith-Hynes, Brandenburg, Ky.; Linda Marie Smith-Kennedy, Union Star, Ky.; and Elizabeth June (Roger) Nafus-Janecek, Hardinsburg, Ky. Nana will be greatly missed by 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, Brandenburg, Ky., with Pastor Russell Perry officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of the funeral home. Interment services will be held at a later date at the Slocum Cemetery, Slocum.
