Vigil tonight in Noank for families, friends of crash victims
Oct. 16—GROTON — An event to offer prayers and comfort to grieving family and friends following a car crash on Fishtown Road Monday in Mystic that claimed the life iof 14-year-old Carson Wilson will be held tonight in Noank.
The "Night of Comfort & Support" will be held 6 p.m. at the Noank Playground at 31 Main St. in Noank.
"Many in the Noank Community and beyond, are impacted by the devastating car accident on October 14," an event notice states. "Four young members of our community were in the vehicle."
Injured in the crash were 17-year-old Skyler Wilson of Groton, 17-year-old Kais Shiman of Mystic, and 18-year-old Alex Quilter of Groton. They remain hospitalized, according to police.
"Let us come together as a community to offer prayers and healing wishes for the families and friends who are grieving, worried, and anxious during this difficult time," states the event notice.
