Voter turnout rises in Palm Beach, Okeechobee, and 2 of 3 Treasure Coast counties
The 2024 election results are in, and the percentage of local voters casting their ballot is up.
Palm Beach County alone saw a 10% increase - from 76.3% to 84% - over 2020, according to the Supervisor of Elections.
Palm Beach County reported 778,201 ballots in 2020, greater than the 752,529 ballots counted in 2024. However, polling data reveals the county has lost 123,847 registered voters in the past four years, skewing percentages.
Saint Lucie County, however, was the outlier of this election, recording a slight decrease in voter turnout.

Statewide, Florida has 13,949,168 eligible voters, and 10,986,175 reported to the polls reflecting 79% of Floridians exercising their vote in the 2024 election.
