Voters pick Rowe for fourth term in state House
Nov. 5—David Rowe, of Lewisburg, won a fourth term in office representing Pennsylvania's 85th District by defeating challenger Nick Jacobson in Tuesday's general election.
The 85th District consists of all of Snyder County, parts of Union (East Buffalo and Union townships), Juniata and Mifflin counties.
"Thank you to the good people of Snyder, Union, Juniata, and Mifflin counties for entrusting me to represent our values in Harrisburg once again," Rowe said. "It is an honor of a lifetime to represent our community and the shared values we all hold so dear."
Late Tuesday night results show Rowe performing well in all parts of the 85th District with an overall vote total of 20,010, or 74 percent of the vote vs. 6,798 for Jacobson, according to unofficial election results.
In Juniata County, he defeated Jacobson 2,094 to 283; in Mifflin County, Rowe had 4,310 to Jacobson's 769; in Snyder County, 14,700 to Jacobson's 5,011; and in Union, Jacobson had 2,800 to Rowe's 2,461.
Results will remain unofficial until all precincts report mail-in ballots.
