Walk-off Homer In 10th Gives Wilkes Victory

KINGSTON — Kyle Follweiler smacked a two-out, three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th as Wilkes pulled out a dramatic 9-6 Freedom Conference win over Arcadia on Friday.
Follweiler had three hits and scored three times for the Colonels (7-5 overall, 2-2 conference), and Mike McAndrew had two hits and scored three times, and Adam Helfrich added two hits.
Misericordia 11, Eastern 8
Ryan Dauley and Cody Hack combined for seven-plus innings of three-hit relief to lead the Cougars (7-11, 2-2 PAC) to a third straight win. Dauley went 4 1/3 innings to pick up the win, and Hack tossed three shutout innings to earn the save.
Chris Matthews had three hits and two RBI and Brandon Calafut added three hits.

Cougars earn sweep
Misericordia (9-5, 4-0 PAC) swept a doubleheader over Rosemont by scores of 33-0 and 22-0.
Gina Urbon was the star, tossing a no-hitter in the second game. Molly Martin and Alissa Popalis combined on a one-hitter in the opener.
Courtney Novajosky, Hollie Sarnak and Nicole Wenner all had three hits in the opener.

Boys Volleyball
Tunkhannock 3, Dallas 0
The Tigers earned the sweep winning by scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-14 led by Rob Perchacs (9 kills, 35 assists), Chuck Cechak (12 kills, 36 assists) and Dylan Otten (nine kills, six digs).
Contributing for the Mountaineers was Colin Grube (9 kills, 11 digs) and Mike Gross (6 kills, 3 blocks).
Holy Redeemer 3, Hanover 0
Brian May led Holy Redeemer with 18 kills, two blocks and an assist in a 25-8, 25-8, 25-10 win.
Also for the Royals, Nick Latosek had two kills, six assists and 17 points. Noah Zurad had 13 points, and Mike Desciak had three kills and one assist. Greg Nothstein added five kills.
Crestwood 3, Delaware Valley 1
Pat Ellefson recorded 30 assists and five blocks for the Comets, who rallied to win three straight games after dropping the first. The scores were 16-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-19. Mike Pritt chipped in 12 kills and Cameron Guignet had 17 digs in the win.
Shawn Gregson led the Warriors with 11 kills, three aces and 19 digs.
Nanticoke 3, Hazleton Area 2
The Trojans won the first two games 29-27, 25-19 before losing the next two 25-7, 25-8, then pulling out a 15-10 win in the tiebreaker to notch the victory.
Josh Victor paced Nanticoke with 33 assists, one kill and three blocks.
GIRLS SOCCER
Honesdale 9, MMI Prep 0
The Hornets jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 16 minutes and coasted to the victory. Karly Gelatt, Natalie Hoff and Kelsey Kohrs all racked up two goals and an assist. Allaina Propst stopped five shots for the shutout.
Brone Lobichusy made 16 saves for the Preppers.

Shannon Wenner struck out 10 in three innings of relief to pick up the exhibition win. She added three RBI and three stolen bases on offense.
Taylor Olain doubled and Lanie Titus hit two singles for the Preppers, who scored six runs in the top of the fifth to break open the game.
Girls Lacrosse
Wyoming Seminary 9, Delaware Valley 1
Madeleine Hackett and Alex Hackett each scored three times to lead the Blue Knights. Goalie Sarah Sitcov recorded eight saves.
