Walsh Jesuit vs. Brunswick football: Warriors roll past Blue Devils for 9-0 record

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Walsh Jesuit defeated Brunswick 38-7 Friday night, continuing a perfect season at Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium.

The Warriors, ranked third in this week's cleveland.com high school football Top 25, improved to 9-0. The Blue Devils are 3-6.

The Warriors took an early first-quarter lead after a 28-yard field goal. Keller Moten then passed to Dominic Romanini for a 25-yard touchdown, and the Warriors concluded first quarter up 10-0.

After two long runs and two long passes, Brunswick finally scored when QB Jake Tamosiunas had a rushing touchdown in the middle of second quarter. The Warriors' Luke Weaver had a rushing 2-yard touchdown to follow.

The Warriors led 17-7 at the half.

In third quarter, the Warriors intercepted a Brunswick pass and Sean Scott scored a 17-yard rushing touchdown, bringing the score to 24-7. Scott had a 5-yard pass to running back Milan Paris for another touchdown.

The Warriors went into the fourth leading 31-7.

Next Friday, Walsh Jesuit will face Padua Franciscan in Parma. Brunswick will face Strongsville. Both games will be the last of the 2024 regular season.
