This week across Michigan will feel like mid-October, not the middle of November. The next few days will see sunny and dry weather across both peninsulas. The key messages for weather in the next couple days will be breezy and unseasonably warm.

Monday and Wednesday look to be the windiest days this week. Winds today in the Grand Rapids area could hit 25 mph, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

And as the daytime temps inch up, parts of Michigan could see 60 degrees by Thursday.

Here are the forecast highlights from around the state for the next few days, according to the NWS.

Grand Rapids and West Michigan: “A seasonably mild week is ahead with a good deal of sunshine. Most days will have a bit of a breeze, though. The next chance of showers is Friday morning.”

Southeast Michigan: “Warm and breezy today with plenty of sunshine. Quiet weather conditions continue with above normal temperatures and dry conditions through Thursday.”

Northern Michigan and the eastern Upper Peninsula: “Temperatures will begin to warm this week to give us a few days that are well above average for mid November. Expect high temperatures to climb into the mid to upper 50s this week for most areas. Breezy wind gusts will also continue at times, especially Monday and Wednesday.”

Marquette and the western Upper Peninsula: “The weather story to begin the work week will be warmer than average temperatures, dry weather, and occasionally breezy conditions with occasional wind gusts Monday and Tuesday up to 35 mph.”
