Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera fired defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio following the team's Thanksgiving loss to the Dallas Cowboys . The Commanders were dealt a 45-10 blow at the hands of the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium Thursday, which saw them slip to 4-8. Amid a woeful season, the loss appeared to be the final straw for Rivera as the team announced the firing of Del Rio, alongside defensive backs coach Brent Vieselmeyer.'Today I relieved Jack Del Rio and Brent Vieselmeyer of their duties,' River confirmed in a statement Friday.
