CLEVELAND, Ohio — In the third start of his NFL career, Browns rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson has his first career touchdown pass.

Thompson-Robinson found an open Harrison Bryant in the end zone on a fourth-and-goal at the Broncos’ 2-yard line on Sunday in Denver.

The Browns turned back the clock on fourth-and-goal by lining up in the T-formation behind Thompson-Robinson. He faked a handoff to Kareem Hunt, then ran a bootleg to the right and threw a short pass to Bryant for the score.

They attempted a two-point conversion to try and tie the game, but Amari Cooper dropped the ball in the end zone despite being open. That kept the Denver lead at 14-12 in the third quarter.

Thompson-Robinson had some good throws on that drive including gains of 11 and 16 yards to David Njoku, and an 11-yard completion to Cooper. The drive was also aided by an unnecessary roughness penalty against Broncos safety P.J. Locke on a third down.
