Republican nominee Donald Trump will be speaking to his supporters at the Palm Beach County Convention Center soon

Earlier in the night, Trump claimed his home state and its 30 electoral votes. As of 1 a.m., the former president was projected to win 247 electoral votes, with 81 still outstanding.

Trump began the day in Palm Beach where he voted near his home at Mar-a-Lago. Wearing a MAGA hat, Trump arrived at the polling location with former First Lady Melania Trump.

At the time, he said it 'looks like Republicans have shown up in force.' and that he is feeling very confident in this election, explaining that this was the best campaign he has done to date.

While Trump is expected to speak soon, Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign announced shortly after 1 a.m. that the Democratic candidate would not speak overnight and planned to address supporters later on Wednesday.
