LISLE, NY (AZFamily) — A frightening crash was caught on video, showing a box truck slammed into two parked New York State Department of Transportation vehicles.

The New York State Police identified the driver involved as 36-year-old Muhammed A. Wesley of Phoenix.

The crash happened shortly before noon on Oct. 28, on Interstate 81 in Lisle, New York , a small upstate town about 200 miles northwest of New York City.

According to state police , Wesley was driving a Penske box truck northbound when he failed to yield a work area involving two DOT vehicles parked on the freeway shoulder.

Dashcam video captured the truck hitting a DOT attenuator and a small DOT dump truck, narrowly missing a worker who jumped out of the way just before the crash.

The box truck is then seen going off the side of the interstate and stopping after going up an embankment.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

State police say a "mowing ahead" sign was posted to alert drivers of the work zone and that both vehicles had their amber lights activated before the crash.

It's unclear if Wesley was cited.
