WATCH: The Neal Brown Show, Ep. 11 (Open Week 2)

G.Perez28 min ago

Despite not playing a game this week, the WVU football program stayed busy.

For the first time since taking over as the Mountaineers head coach, Neal Brown dismissed a coordinator mid-season. On Tuesday, the program announced the departure of defensive coordinator Jordan Lesley.

On this week's episode, Brown sat down with Tony Caridi for an exclusive interview to discuss that decision and the state of the program as it prepares for its final four games.

Ryan Decker and Sydney Cariel break down that headline and more in a brand new edition of The Neal Brown Show.

On this episode:

  • Catching up with the Mountaineers after their win over Arizona.
  • Analysis from Ryan Decker and Sydney Cariel on the biggest keys to how to spend the open week.
  • We look back at WVU redshirt sophomore quarterback Nicco Marchiol's development.
  • A conversation with Mountaineer Sports Network color analyst Dwight Wallace on West Virginia's first eight games.
  • Tony Caridi interviews head coach Neal Brown as the Mountaineers adjust the defensive staff and begin to look ahead to Cincinnati.
  • The Neal Brown Show airs every football Saturday at 9 a.m. on WBOY (Clarksburg-Fairmont-Morgantown), WOWK (Charleston-Huntington), WTRF (Wheeling-Steubenville), and WVNS (Beckley-Bluefield) and at 11 a.m. on DC News Now.
