Customers are advised to boil water for three minutes prior to use and follow these recommendations:
Use only boiled water for drinking, diluting fruit juices, and all other food preparations.
Dispose of ice cubes and do not use ice from a household automatic icemaker. Remake ice cubes using water that has been boiled.
Disinfect dishes and other food contact surfaces by immersion for at least one minute in clean tap water that contains a teaspoon of unscented household bleach per gallon of water.
Water does not need to be boiled if used for bathing. Supervision of children is necessary while bathing so water isn't swallowed. People with cuts or severe rashes may want to consult a physician before bathing.
