Weather Now: Showers Today, Staying Chilly Through the Weekend
Happy Thursday. We had a couple of snow flakes in northern Rhode Island this morning, and we’ll have the chance for rain showers through much of the day, but it won’t be raining all day. Later today, drier weather will arrive and carry us into the weekend.
It’ll be chilly today with temperatures rising through the 30s this morning and into the upper 40s this afternoon. It may be a little milder near the south coast....low 50s there.
Hour by Hour // A hourly look at the upcoming conditions »Showers are possible this morning and afternoon....
...and any rain showers should be winding down by the evening commute.
Skies will clear this evening with overnight lows in the 30s.
Expect lots of clouds around on Friday. Highs will be in the low 50s. The average high for this time of year is 56°, so we’ll be a little below average on Friday, and actually for the next week or so.
We could see some peeks of sun from time-to-time, but we’ll be staying dry. Those clouds should clear Friday night.
LOOKING AHEADVeterans Day will be chilly but dry with sunshine.
