Weiss shows no rust in her return to bowling

Emily Weiss compared bowling to riding a bike. So, when she recently ended a decade-long absence from the sport, she promptly hopped back on the seat, grabbed the handlebars and took off to her first 300 game in more than 15 years.

"This 300 was different because when I was younger, I put a lot of work in my game and I kind of expected to shoot 300," said the 40-year-old Birdsboro resident following her 300 at Earl Bowl in Earlington. "I have to say, I was really nervous on the last ball, and it looked it."

The Tour De Weiss started with a sprint, opening with 210 and 224. Her line to the pocket remained solid with slight changes on the approach. She replaced corner pins from Games 1 and 2 with strikes.
