We’re No. 2! Easton coffee house ranked second best in the nation by USA Today

An Easton coffee shop was voted the second best independent coffee shop in America by USA Today .

ThreeBirds Coffee House at 226 Bushkill St. in Easton won second place in for the USA Today 2024 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. The winners were revealed Wednesday.

The top 10 independent coffee shops were selected by an expert panel and voted by readers as the best in the U.S. for their cozy atmospheres, friendly baristas, and unique menus, according to the USA Today website .

USA Today says of ThreeBirds :

"ThreeBirds Coffee House is a 19th-century work of art, and a modern masterpiece in coffee preparation. Try a coffee from their rotating list of single-origins and blends, opt for a kombucha or nitro cold brew on tap. Nibble on a locally-baked pastry, slather a hunk of bread with olive tapenade and ricotta, and don't forget to say 'Hi' to Beetle and Dorian, the Senegal Parrot and African Grey, when you stop by."

The cafe offers a rotating selection of single origin coffees from all over the world on drip, pour over, and espresso, according to its website . The tea menu features selections from China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and India. The cafe serves pastries from The Modern Crumb bakery.

The shop opened in 2019 .
