Wesleyan swim teams split with Chatham
BUCKHANNON — The West Virginia Wesleyan swim teams split a dual outing on Saturday with Chatham University.
The men's swim team won their outing by an 83-66 score while the women lost a 101-78 decision.
The men placed first in five of the 10 events. Notable performers included Gannon Casebolt who placed 1st in the 50- and 100-freestyle with times of 23.37 and 52.64, respectively. Aaron Taylor placed first in the 1650-free and 500-free with times of 18:50.50 and 5:32.72.
Notable Performances for the women's team included Rhyan Murphy who placed first in the 50- and 100-free with times of 25.74 and 56.84. Breanna Waldron placed first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:28.58. Waldron also placed first in the 500-free with a time of 5:54.34. In the 100-breastroke, Addisyn McCann placed first with a time of 1:20.93.
The swim teams will travel to Ohio Wesleyan University for the Corbiere / Merion Invitational Invite on Nov. 23-24.
