WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A West Haven residents appeared on Wednesday nights episode of "Jeopardy!"

Newington man featured on Veterans Day episode of 'Wheel of Fortune'

Lois Dioro said that she took the online test to apply back in 2022, and had a Zoom interview. In August of this year, she got the call to fly out and do the show.

Dioro came in second place, and said she was proud to represent West Haven on the show.

It's shocking video of an elderly man being throw to the ground and handcuffed during a traffic stop. Video of the exchange between the officer and driver involved in the traffic sop was released by police. The Oklahoma City Police Department has since put the officer on administrative leave pending an internal investigation into what happened saying in a statement "there was a use of force." An arrest report gives more details about what occurred before a man was shot to death Wednesday in the 3200 block of West Edgewood Avenue. Investigators observed surveillance video that showed the victim driving an orange Chevrolet Camaro with orange rims at the intersection of Edgewood Avenue and New Kings Road, according to the JSO arrest report for Lavertis Reed, 20, who was charged with murder in the shooting. As the victim's vehicle crossed the intersection, a white vehicle with dark rims was observed on the surveillance video driving south at a high rate of speed on New Kings Road, the arrest report states.

The Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) on Saturday released footage showing an officer's alleged use of excessive force against Lich Vu, a 70-year-old Asian man with bone cancer, during a traffic violation encounter in late October. A police officer arrived at the scene and issued both drivers a ticket for an improper U-turn.
