  • DAN LANNING

    - Carried 2-point run by Josh Conerly Jr. for a few weeks.

    - "I think we can play a whole lot better."

    - On Jordan Burch: "I think he's fine, just tweaked his ankle a little bit. Had some game-changing plays in this game."

    - Didn't play clean, not sure why so many penalties

    - On OL play with Dave Iuli and Kawika Rogers: Will have to evaluate. Didn't play well enough as a team but doesn't think it's on the OL.

    - On TD pass to Gernorris Wilson: Liked it heading into the game

    - On fake punt: "Play to win. We were playing to go win." Didn't want to stall again in the third.

    - On punt return: Don't want to see the muffed punt happen with Evan Stewart. Gary Bryant Jr. came in and was sure-handed.

    - "Maybe a lack of focus" tonight

    - Felt they could create explosive passes, didn't happen.

    - Containing Maryland's WRs was good but could have been better

    - Turnovers come in bunches

    - Jordan James "could have gone back in" but they were being conscientious about his health. Unclear as to what was at issue.
